Job Summary:
As a Junior Mechanical Engineer at Lumax Energy, you will play a pivotal role in the sales and development of our Single Axis Tracker (SAT) systems for solar PV modules. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of quotations, Bill of Materials (BOM) lists, and the design of parts and solutions tailored to various PV mounting requirements. This role demands a blend of technical skills and creativity, offering the opportunity to engage in project management, cost analysis, and mechanical support across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales efforts for our innovative Single Axis Tracker (SAT) systems designed for solar PV modules.
- Prepare accurate quotations and Bill of Materials (BOM) lists for PV module mounting solutions.
- Provide mechanical support to other teams, contributing to a collaborative engineering environment.
- Design mechanical parts and solutions that meet diverse PV mounting requirements, ensuring technical and operational feasibility.
- Conduct cost analysis for mechanical parts and solutions, optimizing for efficiency and sustainability.
- Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring deadlines and specifications are met.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng) or Technology degree (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering.
- A keen eye for detail with a commitment to high accuracy in all aspects of your work.
- Strong communication skills, capable of effective verbal and written exchanges.
- Proficiency in computer and mathematical skills, with an emphasis on punctuality, accuracy, and organization.
Computer Skills:
- Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) design.
- Proficiency in drafting or design software such as Inventor or similar.
- Advanced mathematical capabilities in Excel.
Preferred:
- Experience in technical design and manufacturing.
- Graduate level up to 1-2 years of engineering work experience.
