The South African Photovoltaic Industry Association

The South African Photovoltaic Industry Association (SAPVIA) is a non-profit industry association established in 2010: To promote, develop and grow the Photovoltaic (“PV”) industry as part of the wider renewable energy sector in South Africa.

SAPVIA represents interests of almost 700 members across the South Africa’s Photovoltaic value chain. A core objective of SAPVIA is to increase deployment of Solar PV technology in South Africa.

In partnership with government departments, development agencies and some of the world’s leading players in the PV sector, SAPVIA is committed to promoting the growth of this country’s Solar PV electricity market. The end goal is to provide access to viable, clean and affordable energy to all citizens.
