Small players may be forced out of power set-up

23 July 2011: Moves by the Department of Energy to drop the renewable energy feed-in-tariff model from the Integrated Resource Plan could eliminate potential small players in the industry, say legal analysts.
They could also undermine a 2030 target of having 42% of energy generation from renewables and SA’s bid to move away from coal reliance.
