SAPVIA's 11th Networking Event: 18 March 2014

SAPVIA held the first event for 2014 – it’s 11th Networking Event on 18 March 2014 at The Pavilion Clocktower Conference Centre, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.   The event was well attended with just over 80 delegates on the day.  Standard Bank lead the day’s proceedings with the first presentation of the afternoon delivered by the Group’s Head of Renewable Energy, Power and Infrastructure, Ms Rentia van Tonder.  Rentia’s presentation, “Financing for Solar PV: REIPPP, Rooftop, Small IPP’s” can be downloaded here.  Following Rentia, was Marc Copeland and Gareth Hockey, Regional Heads for Foreign Exchange and Money Market Sales WC & Pretoria.  Their joint presentation entitled: “Foreign Exchange: Movements & Volatility” can be downloaded here.   After the Standard Bank Group, two representatives from TechnoServe South Africa – Sagay Moodliar, Country Director and Fredrik Hedborg, presented on “The Importance of local presence in implementation of Economic Development Plans”.  The presentation can be downloaded here.
