SAPVIA meeting with Eskom transmission grid planning team: 16 May 2013
On the 16th of May 2013 SAPVIA’s Grid Access Subcommittee met with representatives of Eskom’s transmission grid planning team in an information sharing and relationship building workshop. Vladimir Chadliev (Director Global Grid Integration: First Solar) presented on Grid Integration & Plant Control Systems for Utility Scale PV Power Plants, and Nish Rathanlall (Eskom Investment Planning Support Manager: Grid Planning – Transmission) gave a presentation titled: ‘Connecting renewable energy to the grid in SA – now & into the future.’
