SAPVIA held it’s 8th Networking Event on 26 June 2013 at the 20 West Executive Hotel, Sandton, Johannesburg. The first presentation of the afternoon was given by Jason van der Poel – a partner at Webber Wentzel. Jason gave very detailed and highly informative presentation on the ‘Changes brought about in the Re-issued RFP for the Rewewable Energy Independent Power Producers Programme’. The presentation can be downloaded here. The keynote address was given by the esteemed Dr Wolsey Barnard – DoE Deputy Director General: Energy Programmes & Projects. Dr Barnard provided the audience with valuable insights into the ‘Performance of the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Programme and Learnings for the Future.’ Thank you to all who attended the event.
