The conference will take stock of the evolution of South Africa’s energy landscape, discussing the major milestones and possible next steps over the course of sessions with key local actors and international experts. The event will consist of 3 sessions:

1. Energy security while transitioning;
2. Enhancing investor confidence;
3. Maximising the potential of available connection capacity. 

The latest RES4Africa report developed for South Africa in collaboration with Eskom’s grid planning department will also be launched during the conference, offering insights on further renewable integration into the national grid and opening considerations for new possible locations, and for a combined approach to the different technologies available.
