National Energy Act, 2008 Regulations on the allowance for energy efficiency savings: request for public comment
The Department of Energy recently released for public comment the National Energy Act, 2008: Regulations on the allowance for energy efficiency savings: Government Gazette no. 34596.
Pages 32-38 of the document refer to the tax allowance for energy efficiency savings regulations that stipulate that companies can submit certificates of energy savings issued by accredited persons to SARS to claim tax.
