Solar Installation Tender
The SAAO is looking to appoint a reputable company to design and install a solar installation which will be used as a supplement for electrical supply to the site. Sutherland has one of the highest UV throughputs in the country and the installation will contribute to the reduction of the organisations reliance on fossil fuels. The installation will need to tie into the existing electrical infrastructure installation on site.

There is a compulsory site visit in Sutherland on 29 January 2019 at 11:00. All potential bidders are to sign the register, and please inform SAAO of your possible attendance by emailing scm@saao.ac.za.
The bid must be submitted before 11:00 on 8 February 2019. Bids can be submitted electronically to bids@saao.ac.za or physically deposited into the tender box at the SAAO site in Observatory, Observatory Road, Cape Town
