SAPVIA NETWORKING EVENT: 27 JULY 2016 – SARETEC, CAPE TOWN
SAPVIA held its 2nd Networking event for the year at the SARETEC Auditorium, in Cape Town, on Wednesday, 27th July 2016.
The event was well supported with just over 80 attendees!
SAPVIA’s Chairperson, Davin Chown, welcomed all present and provided an update on the Association’s activities and strategy going forward.
Corné van der Westhuizen, Project Development Manager, juwi Renewable Energies (Pty) Ltd, started the day’s proceedings with his presentation on “Grid capacity constraints and the potential for nodal pricing” which can be downloaded here. Followed by Surina Laurie, Project Manager, CSIR, who shared insights on the Renewable Energy Development Zones (REDZ) – Grid Expansion
