The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) released a consultation paper inviting public comments on the proposed South African Wholesale Electricity Market (SAWEM) Market Code and associated Market Rules.
To ensure a unified industry voice, SAPVIA will prepare and submit a single consolidated response on behalf of its members. We therefore invite you and strongly encourage you to share your written feedback on the consultation paper. Your input will help shape SAPVIA’s final submission.
Important dates to note:
- 27 May 2026 – Deadline for members to submit comments to SAPVIA
- 29 May 2026 – SAPVIA submits consolidated response to NERSA
