SANS10142-1ED3.3 – The wiring of premises Part 1: Low-voltage installations

The Technical Committee SABS/TC067_SC06 Electricity Distribution Systems and Components – Installations has reached consensus that the attached draft should proceed to become a South African National Standard.

This document is now circulated for public enquiry and SAPVIA members are invited to submit comments by the due date indicated above.

Submission of Comments

  • Comments must be submitted using the stipulated SABS Commenting Template, in our electronic format.
  • Please refer to the SABS Template for Comments and Secretariat Observations – User Guide for instructions on completing the template.
  • Each comment must clearly reference the clause/subclause number to which it applies, be well motivated, and where applicable, include proposed amended text.
  • Information will be collected via the online form provided below.

  • The public enquiry stage may be repeated if significant technical changes arise from comments received.
  • Less urgent technical comments will be considered at the time of the next amendment.
  • This document remains a draft and may not be referred to as a South African Standard until formally published.
  • Draft standards may also be considered in terms of their potential to become standards referenced in law.
