Astronergy gets TÜV Rheinland certified world’s first IEC 61730:2023 PV module certificates

Astronergy, a pioneer in n-type TOPCon PV modules, obtained the world’s first IEC 61730-1:2023 and IEC 61730-2:2023 PV module certificates certified by TÜV Rheinland on September 18, demonstrating the company’s outstanding performance and innovation in PV modules’ R&D and manufacturing technology.

Updated in Sept. 2023, the new standard IEC 61730-1:2023 and IEC 61730-2:2023 (hereinafter ‘the New Standard’), aiming to ensure the quality and performance of PV modules under various environmental conditions and operation scenarios, sets higher requirements for PV modules’ research and development, manufacturing technology, and product reliability and safety than the previous standard IEC 61730-1:2016 and IEC 61730-2:2016.

After passing rigorous tests and assessments conducted by TÜV Rheinland, a leading international testing and certification organization, Astronergy obtained the world’s first IEC 61730-1:2023 and IEC 61730-2:2023 certificates, which could verify the high efficiency and high performance of the company’s PV products in various scenarios even harsh weather conditions such as high temperature, high humidity, etc.

With more than 17 years of experience and expertise in PV modules’ R&D and manufacturing, Astronergy has established a complete industrial chain from raw materials to equipment manufacturing, from system integration to operation services.

And the company has also cooperated with TÜV Rheinland to improve PV product quality, promote the development of standards and enhance its strength and competitiveness in the global market while leading in technological innovation, and quality control.

Gaining the New Standard certificates is not only a recognition of Astronergy’s excellence and leadership in the PV industry but also a driving force for its continuous development and innovation.
