Reminder: Submit Your Projects – 4th Annual SA Renewable Energy Grid Survey Now Open!
Dear Valued Members,
This is a friendly reminder that the 4th Annual South African Renewable Energy Grid Survey (SAREGS) – 2025 Edition is live!
Launched in collaboration with SAWEA and the National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA), SAREGS provides critical data to Eskom and NTCSA Planning, directly informing:
- Grid Capacity Connection Assessments (GCCA)
- Transmission Development Plans (TDP)
- Future grid infrastructure and expansion strategies
- Investment decisions for public procurement, private generation, wheeling, and ITPs
We urge all Independent Power Producers (IPPs) to submit their current project pipeline, including any developments previously hindered or delayed due to grid limitations.
Important: All projects, including those submitted in prior years (2022–2024), must be resubmitted to be considered active in the 2025 survey.
