This, coupled with its target to provide secure, sustainable renewable energy, has led to the offer of subsidised support to PV technicians and suitably qualified people to attend the PV Skills development programme.
Aspiring candidates can benefit from a 75-100% subsidy towards the full cost of the Solar PV Installer training and assessment offered at SARETEC. Women applicants are automatically eligible for the 100% subsidy, should they fulfill the required criteria.
